Alice is a musician and music teacher based in Leicester. She teaches violin, piano, recorders and music theory to learners of all ages and stages. In fact, most of her pupils are adult beginners, and she really enjoys introducing new people to the instruments and the music she loves.

As well as teaching people how to read the music and how to play their instrument, she also specialises in traditional English music, and leads a folk music group for Music Foundry, as well as running Red Fox Ceilidhs, a local dance event which features live bands.

Alice also runs keyboard classes for children on three afternoons each week, at two community centres in the city. For these she composes new music and creates teaching resources including classical and folk music.
