1950's sci fi art, searching for inspiration.

Evaluating 1950's sci fi art and fashion.

Right now I'm searching for inspiration on 1950's Sci Fi art. From this picture, I find that the background colour is different contrasts of green which I really like! It makes it look more effective then if it were just one. The woman is placed in the centre and she is the main attraction, in other words, the first thing you would notice whether your standing far back or close up is the woman. I love how there is the buildings just at the bottom of the page. The whole page altogether is fantastic! There is something to look at from top to bottom that is filled with inspiration.

Here is another inspiration. What struck me when I first came across this, was the man. His body is curved and the effect it has, is that he looks like he is jumping off the page. I think the effect of this is because there is an orange background but at the same time, there is a tiny bit of yellow following round the shape of his body, to make this effect have an impact. The way he is facing then forces you to notice the title. Yellow is such a powerful colour, it is almost like power. It's almost like it's screaming out to be noticed because it is a bright colour.

This is my last and final inspiration. Right here we can look at the fashion of sci fi. I have always been inspired by Gaga and so I thought might aswell include my inspiration. Here in this picture is one of her outfits that is 1950's sci fi theme. It's bold, bright and glamourous and the shoulder pads really make smile! she is a perfect example for combining music with fashion.
