I've been told by loads of guys that I should like Bruce Springsteen more than I actually do. It's the first time Los Campesinos! have ever played Leicester, and it really shows. The place is totally packed, there's 14 year old kids that I keep inadvertently spilling my drink over and stumbling into because frankly, they're too small for me to see in all the hubbub. It seems only fitting to make my first entry on this site about Pavement. They’ve been one of my favourite bands for a long time now and really signified a sea change in the way I looked at music. They’re something of a cornerstone to this blog as well, given that we’re all obsessive fans.
