From Dusk 2 Dawn presents the biggest cultural weekend party of Leicestershire.

The brand spanking new cultural quarter of Leicester will be hosting the Weekender on the 24th and 25th of this month. Preparing to expand the minds and create new opportunities of the local population, music, dance, poetry and much more available on our door step, and, even better, its all for the charity, Oxjam!

This will be the first official event hosted by the Cultural Quarter and the Cultural Quarter Business Association to create the perfect opportunity to see what Leicester's new cultural quarter is really capable of.

Saturday

• Combust, street fire performers and poi workshops
• Art Jam Expo at the Independant Arts Centre and on Yeoman st
• Pineapster stage at Independent Arts Centre
• Dare to Diva Productions with WOW Percussion, G funk and more at the Quarter
• Photoshoots and Exposure Showcase at Midas
• Photography sessions and Exhibition at LE1

AND the most unique event, the Poetry Brothel, NOT TO BE MISSED. LE1 6.30pm to 4am. BE THERE!

Sunday

• Arts Booter Arts and Crafts Market at the Curve from 11am to 4pm
• Oxjam FD2D Stage in association with Stench, at the Independants Arts Centre
• Oxjam Afro Disco at Midas
• Oxjam 2 funky soul lounge, Soul Jazz, spoken word and comedy at LE1
• Oxjam WOW stage with numerous artists at The Quarter
• Swing night at Houstons bar and grill with Frank Sinatra & friends tribute and special oxjam menu with 20% of proceeds donated to Oxjam
