Déda|Producing is looking for emerging or established dance artists to take on the (paid) role of Local Dance Champion for one or more of the performances of Games Time in 2012 (Loughborough, Northampton and Derby). The local Dance Champions will be working alongside professional dancers from the Games Time national team as well as choreographer Gary Clarke and Artistic Director Lea Anderson.

The year 1982 is often remembered by landmark events such as the Falklands War or Charles and Diana’s wedding. It was also the year that writer Sue Townsend’s fictional character Adrian Mole debuted in The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole aged 13 ¾. The story written in a diary format appeared first as a book, then a play documenting the thoughts, feelings and anxieties of the teenager as he naively misinterprets the world around him. On the back of the stories success a further six titles were written in the Mole series. Thirty years on and his name is still a favourite among fans of fictional writing. To celebrate this the theme of the 2012 Dave’s Leicester Comedy Festival is highly attributed to the fictional favourite.

The new Purple Claw website is one of our finest pieces of development to date. We worked closely with art director & graphic designer Bigeyebrow to create something exceptional. It gave us both the chance to flex our muscles & demonstrate what we are capable of in collaboration.
