Hey guys, we have got an information session about some of our upcoming youth projects on the University of Leicester campus on Wednesday the 27th of January @ 2pm. So upcoming projects include? Want to make a difference to the envionment, not sure how, read the article in this edition of FD2D, World Environment Day is on the 5th of June and we need YOU to be part of mobilising the Leicester community to put an event that will go down as Leicester Best Summer Event EVER. We will hopefully be teaming up with the Independant Arts Organisation to make displays, banners and get you guys to voice your creativity through the wide range on offer at the centre. Any thoughts ideas..come along next wednesday and we will take it from there. 20th of Feb - we are also having the 'BIG TIDY UP' coming to you. Lets clean up Leicester together - Evington Road - St.Philips Church @ 10am for breifing, going out for the litter pick and then have a thank you lunch @ 1pm. The Big Tidy Up – Multi-Faith Street Cleaning team to tidy up Evington Road and surrounding areas! Make a real difference to your city and help raise money charity at the same time - sign up via the website! 19th - 21st March 2010 - IFLP – Interfaith leadership programme - A Leadership development residential with young adults open to all Faith groups, incorporating modules on Leadership, how to set up your own community projects, conflict mediation, working with young people, equality and diversity, communication and the media The room is L67 in the Fielding Johnson Building, First Floor (Law Dept).
