If you haven’t heard about it yet which rock have you been hiding under? For the first time in 64 years, the Games are back in the UK and from 27 July to 12 August the world’s top athletes will be lining up to compete in the biggest sporting event on the planet.

Games Time is a spectacular live outdoor stage show, centred around a battle between four teams of coloured counters on a large games board, combining music, video, fireworks, professional dancers and 160 members of the local community.

The unpalatable truth is there’s no hard evidence of the good art does for society and no legal obligation to supply the services! In times of trouble and cuts the council is obviously going to turn to what they do not legally have to provide.
