How do you shoot and edit a film on an iPad? Teachers from 4 Leicestershire primary schools were set this task as part of two CPD days as part of Cine Hubs Digital Future training. Teachers will then take their skills back to the class room and work with their pupils to make a short film that will be screened at Phoenix Square on the big screen in June. Cine Hubs is organised by Kibworth Primary school and the training was delivered by Steve Friendship of Large Scale. A second group will start training..

Large Scale visited the 2nd Docfilm Festival at Phoenix Square over the weekend. Big hello to Suzie Spin and Auntie Lou who had a short section in the Social Doc Cube - bean bags and lounging around - screening a couple of films about Critical Mass, who monthly take to the streets on the bikes.

Large Scale also ran a short impromptu workshop for a group of young people involved in the Wave Club. All shot and edited by the group - I think they have made a grand job.

Filming is complete on our two Cine Hubs productions for this year. Principal photography was finished on The Colour thief last Monday and Sick Pixie will be finished next Tuesday. To the right there are some photos of the shoot, with plenty of green screen in evidence. Rough Cuts are starting to take shape and the pupils will have a look at these shortly.
