One of the first projects in my third year was an experimental bookmaking competition brief. The brief was very open, just giving a maximum size of the final piece and a theme to stick to - 'minute.' The word minute has various different meanings, so after exploring all of them I settled upon minute as in small or miniature. These photos are of my final book collection of mini step-by-step sewing guides, which I made using matchboxes.

In the later half of my second year I wrote an essay about the corporate identity of Sainsbury's Supermarkets, a brief was set alongside this to produce a piece of work that would relate to this subject in some way, whether it be celebrating or condeming the company.
One of the main topics I discussed in the essay was Sainsbury's drive on recyling, so this was my starting point. I liked the brief as it was very open, so I started by focusing on areas I'm interested in such as fashion and photogra..

This is some work I did in my second year, in my Editorial module. The brief was to create an a5 booklet which would fold out into an a2 poster, the contents being one of the online articles chosen from Design Observer. My chosen article was called 'The Garment District' written about area in New York. My main idea came from using sewing patterns.

I hope to graduate in BA (Hons) Graphic Design
I've set up this blog to post some of my work from previous projects and hope to update it regularly as work on various projects continues.
My main interests as a designer are photography, fashion, typography, bookmaking and editorial work.
