Having gained experience through various small projects over the past 2 years, I would describe myself as a freelance writer, marketing associate, and events promoter/booking agent who happens to have an MA in psychology.

Since 2007 I have run my own music blog - Apt Punk - and have worked with popular indie bands such as Spit Like This, Cold Driven, and Flatlined. Through conducting reviews, interviews, and writing various articles I have developed a strong promotions contact sheet, and using that expanded into bookings in 2008 & 2009.

My most noteworthy events include my involvement in OxJam Leicester 2009 where I was assigned the role of venue manager of their sole rock, punk, and unsigned talent venue. However, I single-handedly organised the Starfish Charity Concert Calgary 2008 in aid of Starfish Greathearts Foundation. My duties from both have included stage management, event logistics, marketing, promotions, etc.

I'm currently looking to gain some more experience in bookings, promotions, and music journalism.
