Short Fuse Fiction shortfusefiction

Short Fuse nights feature short works interpreting a theme. All works aim to tell a story in some way.

The night is devoted to the short story. But our once exclusive focus on short fiction is now shifting to include short works in other art forms, expanding the idea of what a short story can be. The format of the night is magazine style, with an organising theme to which musicians, filmmakers, dancers, artists as well as writers of diverse prose forms – essays, novel extracts, flash fiction – are invited to submit work. There are breaks between readings with live VJ, original artwork and film.
