Xander Ashwell is a freelance designer and photographer based in the East Midlands. I'm passionate about visual communication and design, and like nothing better than creating beautiful things for my clients. I build websites, create brand identity, and also design for print.

I have more than 6yrs freelance experience, ten months experience creating great promotion for a prolific international lingerie manufacturer, and have a first class Bachelor of Arts Degree (with Honours). Past clients include Pearl & Dean, Bishops Castle Land Trust, Group Senzala, and the British Council of Capoeira. I've also won awards for my creative work from Digital Arts Magazine, Seagate Hard Drives, and the Young Creatives Network.

Aside from loving all things visual, I maintain a blog on visual literacy, design techniques, and my wildly interesting life. I also run a printed ‘zine, showcasing fresh creative talent from around the globe. (We're open to submissions, send us your artwork!)

In between all this, I manage to find time to practise the Brazilian martial artform of capoeira, grow bonsai trees, and cycle around on a vintage racing bike.
